Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve tried to anticipate some questions you might have ahead of the day. Take a look.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is ‘formal’ (suits and dresses for example). More fancy than jeans, but it doesn’t have to be a ballgown 💃🏽😉

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately we have limited capacity at our reception venue. However, if we haven’t invited your partner but they would love to come, do let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

Will there be parking options?

For the ceremony, the church has no dedicated parking spaces. You can park along the road/nearby roads wherever you can find a spot!

The reception venue, Philippus, has a small number of dedicated parking spaces. These can be reserved for 10€ for the day (contact us for infos). Alternatively, look for a roadside parking spot.

Public transport is probably the most convenient way to get around. See our travel & stay page for public transport options.

Can I take photos?

You’re very welcome to take photos! However, we’d appreciate if you don’t take photos/videos during the ceremony! Professional photos will be taken throughout the day, which we will share with you all after the wedding 😊

Will there be a livestream?

The ceremony will be livestreamed for those of you who can’t come in person! Leave us your email when filling in your RSVP, and we’ll send you the link.

Is there anything I need to bring?

Depending on the weather you may want to bring a warm item of clothing – the reception venue has a garden section which we’re planning to make use of if it’s not raining. If it’s cool, a jumper or coat might come in handy.

If you want to take part in the walk from the ceremony to reception venue, we recommend bringing a non-fancy pair of shoes 👟
